Choral Concert Fundraiser

With all our love
PLC Sydney’s 2026 choral concert, With All My Love - Songs that Speak from the Heart, is lovingly dedicated to someone who meant the world to us: Scott Gregory. Scott was a deeply cherished member of our community, and anyone who knew him remembers how passionate he was about teaching, basketball, technology, music, coffee and crazy socks. He left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
As a dedicated primary school teacher, Scott brought joy, patience, and creativity into his classroom every single day. He had an incredible way of making everyday lessons feel magical for his young students, leaving them with a love of learning that will last forever. Above all, Scott's heart belonged to his family. His love for them was his greatest pride, and they were his anchor and inspiration in everything he did. The theme for this year’s choral concert captures exactly how Scott lived his life: fully devoted to his family, deeply invested in shaping young minds, and sharing his love with all of us. As we share these songs, we celebrate his warmth, his generous spirit, and the beautiful legacy he leaves behind in his classroom, our community, and his loved ones.
To make this dedication even more meaningful, we have partnered with Centenary Institute to support their vital work in Scott's honour. We invite you to join us in paying tribute to Scott - not only by experiencing the beauty of music but also by supporting a cause that ensures his legacy continues to make a positive impact in the world.

Your support will help families impacted by sudden cardiac death
Sudden cardiac death is the tragic and unexpected passing of an otherwise healthy person which can be due to an underlying genetic heart disease.
The death of a young person is an unimaginable tragedy that leaves families grappling with profound grief and uncertainty.
Alongside groundbreaking research at the cellular level, Centenary facilitates genetic counselling and care, helping families understand their risk factors by funding genetic analysis, through the Genetic Heart Disease Clinic.
Each year, around 30 new families are referred to the clinic and your donations will help us find new genetic causes for Sudden Cardiac Death and more answers.
When someone dies suddenly and unexpectedly it is possible they had an underlying genetic heart disease that they did not know about. Genetic testing is an important component of the investigation but is not covered by medicare for deceased individuals.
- Offer comprehensive whole genome sequencing to families impacted by sudden cardiac death
- Cover the cost of transporting the frozen blood sample of an individual who has died from Sydney to Victoria for appropriate testing
- Purchase a 12 lead 24 hour holter monitor to provide comprehensive clinical screening for families impacted by sudden cardiac death
- Fund the salary of a part-time specialist cardiac sonographer who performs the clinical investigations on our families affected by sudden cardiac death.
- Allow the research to continue uninterrupted to find new genetic causes for sudden cardiac death to bring answers to grieving families.
