Help make a difference

In today’s world, cancer statistics have become an inescapable part of our lives. The reality that nearly half of us will face a life-altering cancer diagnosis in our lifetime is a fact many have become desensitised to.

Staggeringly, one Australian is diagnosed with melanoma every 30 minutes. Known as our national cancer, the reality of this statistic is that almost 17,000 Australians get told every year that their life is under threat and the vast majority of these patients will be men. The Tiffen research group aims to change that by working to better understand how genes located on the X and Y (sex) chromosomes can influence different outcomes for men and women with melanoma.

We’re making progress towards more effective, targeted treatments and cures, and your support will help power the answers that will protect future generations.
